At The Next Sabbath Meeting, The Jews Contradict Paul. He Turns To The Gentiles

⁴² And while they were going out, they were begging that these words might be spoken to them on the next Sabbath. ⁴³ And the gathering^[a] having been released^[b], many of the Jews and of the worshiping proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas— who, speaking to them, were persuading them to continue-in the grace of God. ⁴⁴ Now on the coming Sabbath, almost the whole city was gathered together to hear the word of the Lord.
